30 Catch Your Dinner How lucky are you feeling today? Maui's surrounding ocean waters are chock full of fish, and for the lucky fisherman their fresh dinner is just waiting to be reeled in. Just below the surface there are a multitude of reefs that hold a bounty of tasty and unusual fish such as blue snapper, yellow spot papio, white and black ulua, uku (gray snapper), and the list goes on. While we are out cruising on the beautiful blue waters we like trolling where we know there are some big game fish lurking about. Some of our favorites include ahi (yellow fin tuna), mahi mahi, ono, and occasionally a giant blue marlin! After a great day on the ocean there is nothing better than enjoying the fruits of our labor by dining on our fresh catch. Dana Klingman and Jay Halford have been catching big fish and telling big fish stories their entire lives. They own the sport fishing boat "Strike Zone" a 43' Delta. The Hawaiian word for waterfall is wailele: wai is fresh water ; lele means to jump, arrive, or leap. From the top of a waterfall the water "jumps" off; on a really good day it appears to "leap."
