Tasty & Served Until Midnight Popular with tourists and locals alike, there's a reason Lahaina Coolers is rated well across the internet. With a motto like "Life's too short to eat boring food", it shouldn't be a surprise that their menu is as eclectic as it is delicious. We would be remiss if we didn't mention how affordable they are, with the added bonus of excellent atmosphere! (Have we died and gone to foodie heaven?!) Open daily from 8:00 am to 1:00 am, Lahaina Coolers is an open-air restaurant that has something for everyone, so whether you seek the perfect bite to eat, have been on the lookout for mouth- watering vegan/vegetarian food, or have keiki in your group—look no further! Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 11:00 am (until noon on Sundays) with a variety of offerings, including local- inspired dishes, like their bowl of fruit which is served in a pineapple half or the mouth-watering Local Benedict (a local twist on eggs Benedict featuring kālua pig over Hawaiian sweet bread, served with a homemade Hollandaise sauce). They begin serving lunch at 11:00 am (from noon on Sundays), with tasty options like vegetable stir fry, comprised of island fresh veggies. Dinner goes from 5:00 pm 'til midnight, and their pasta dishes can be made to accommodate vegetarians. We highly recommend their Hamakua mushroom risotto - one of our personal favorites! Well, at Maui Tacos they've taken the best flavors of Mexico and fused them with the flavors of Aloha to create food that will make your mouth and tummy happy! Offerings like Baja Grilled Fish Tacos and Chicken Mango Salad in a crispy flour tortilla shell, they can satiate every appetite. I just love Mexican food when it's hot, fresh, delicious and inexpensive and Maui Tacos delivers on all those promises. They've really got the Island/Mexican thing going on, and their self-serve salsa bar is the bomb. So cruise into any one of their upscale surf shacks, and eat your heart out without draining your wallet dry!
