<< LIFESTYLE 100 Once you arrive on Maui, it's hard to miss the fact that you're in paradise. But you're only seeing half of it. Beneath the ocean lie treasures of unparalleled beauty that will blow your mind. Spinner dolphins, coral reefs, turtles at cleaning stations, schools of butterfly fish, and humuhumunukunukuapuaa (Hawaii's state fish) are just a few of our local sea life inhabitants. If you're really lucky you might even see a monk seal, the docile whale shark, a moray eel, or a spotted eagle ray. During winter or spring you'll witness the awesome humpback whales breaching or spyhopping along the coast. So make it a point to go on a snorkeling excursion to Molokini or Turtle Town, scuba dive around Lanai, or just rent some gear and explore Honolua Bay, but be sure to do it after you've finished all the puzzles in this section.
