Star Noodle Though this restaurant may be off the beaten track in terms of location (see our map on page 107) they couldn't be more on the right track with their food. Located above Lahaina at Lahaina Business Park, Star Noodle has the best Asian cuisine on Maui. What makes the food so delicious is the insistence of the skilled chefs to use locally grown and sourced ingredients to create their menu daily. The restaurant itself is vibrant and true to the nature of the food being served which, by the way, is incredible. Noodles, steamed pork buns, udons, soups, pad thai and so much more to choose from. Star Noodle's menu is both colorful and exciting, and is served on elegant and energetic plates making your mouth water and hands reach for the chopsticks. Wash the best Asian food you've ever had down with some really unique beverages. They have sake-based cocktails to die for, and house special mixed drinks, as well as an extensive wine and beer selection. After all of that, one might imagine that there couldn't be much more to offer, but you would be mistaken! Get the malasadas. Presented in a charming way with sauces and condiments to dip, in they are hot, fresh and delicious. We recommend that you dine in and make the most of the entire experience. The ambiance is casual and contemporary, with a uniquely Asian flair. No excuses for not trying the best noodles you've ever had! Try it. See if you can just look at that little cookie, knowing it's yours and a fortune awaits your unveiling. Being a Chinese food fanatic, I've saved many of my favorite fortunes. Here are a few: "That wasn't chicken," "Help, I'm trapped in a fortune cookie factory," "Made in China," "You will see many things," "You will gain admiration from your pears."
