34 I think that Maui is one of the most (if not the most) romantic places on Earth. A couple of my favorite places on Maui for getting close are Haleakala as the sun comes up (the cold lends itself to cuddling), and watching a full moon over Honolua Bay. But there are tons of special places on our island to share with your sweetie. For example, I take my beautiful wife, Tammie, on hikes to waterfalls like Twin Falls. We watch spectacular sunsets on a dinner cruise, and we read and relax at the beach (Ironwoods in Kapalua is a favorite). Speaking of beaches, one of my signature moves is writing love notes in the wet sand, and then getting her to walk past them while I look surprised. It's these types of experiences that are guaranteed to bring you closer to your sweetheart, and make your trip even more memorable! Romantic Plac Love is in the air and on dinner cruises too. Mike Webb lives on Maui and makes it a point to romance his wife, Tammie, a flight attendant, when she is home. He is also the Marketing Manager of Quicksilver Charters, so needless to say, they're out on the ocean often. For more info on romantic things to do, call Boss Frog's at (808) 856-4226. Visitors & locals often see green flashes at sunset. Interesting fact:: M i ke W ebb I love the ocean-based lifestyle on this island. People have a clear relationship with the water that they don't have in other places. I've lived here over a year now, and I strengthen my ties to the Pacific daily. I grew up in Carlsbad, and I used to ride the bus for an hour with my board to go surfing. Now I live just 2 minutes from the ocean. I'm living the life I've always dreamt! Marine Relationships Taking care of the ocean. Weston Evans runs Shoreline Snorkel on the West Side.
