52 VOLCANO COAST Volcano Coast! TO DO things on the As we headed down Baldwin Avenue, towards our last destination, we stopped at several wonderful churches and landmarks along the road. One of our favorite places was the Hui Noeau Visual Arts Center. Housed in a beautiful 1917 plantation mansion and estate, this art center features public workshops, classes, events and exhibitions. We were lucky enough to see a fantastic gallery showing of print making works from resident and visiting artists - truly some of the finest art we've ever seen. In Paia we met up with some friends, strolled around the quaint town, got some fresh squeezed juice at Mana Foods, and sat down for some live music and dinner at the Flatbread Pizza Company. All in all, from top to bottom, we had ourselves a fabulous day on the Volcano Coast of Maui. Whatever you do, make sure you leave at least one day of your vacation to explore this amazing and beautiful part of Maui!
