Bubba Gump
Okay, so maybe you've been to a
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. before. Well,
this one has a view that will knock your
socks off. Really. In fact, it was voted
the "Favorite Restaurant with a View
on Maui" by Hawaii.com.
Sitting smack dab at water's edge
in Lahaina, Bubba Gump has all
your familiar favorites, "Dumb
Luck Coconut Shrimp", Bubba's After
the Storm "Bucket of Boat Trash",
and Forrest's favorite "Accidental
Fish & Chips".
Your kids will also be very happy
campers at Bubba Gump. In 2013,
Maui News voted it the "Best Kid
Friendly" on Maui! After they clean
their plates of Hubba Bubba Popcorn
Shrimp or Mama Gump Chicken Strips,
the kiddos can build their own ice
cream sundaes for just $2.99 each.

the kids and go see for yourself.
Leoda's
Slow down as you drive through
the little roadside village of Olowalu,
about 15 minutes south of Lahaina
town, so you don't miss this adorable
plantation style restaurant and pie
shop where everything is prepared
with care. From the old photos of
the area, to the distressed wood,
and muted colors this place has
atmosphere! Try their sandwiches
or burgers with Kula onions. All the
breads are home baked and flavorful.
The food is fresh and tasty because so
many ingredients are sourced locally.
Leoda's prides themselves on serving
"glorified grandma comfort food,"
so you know you're in for a treat.
Don't get too full though-you have
to try some pie, as these are what
Leoda's is famous for. My favorite:
the macadamia nut, chocolate and
praline pie. This is seriously a pie to
die for!
