If you've already landed on our island, you're beginning to get a sense of how beautiful Maui is. But unless you climb aboard a helicopter and take a tour from the sky, you'll be missing spectacular sights impossible to ever see from the ground. Plus, what would take you hours to explore, you get to see in full splendor in just minutes. Okay, so let's get down to it - here are my favorite sights: First, Haleakala's volcanic crater and lava flows. Of course, the "Wall of Tears" with over 17 waterfalls flowing at once, rainforests and bamboo jungles. But I wouldn't stop there. Once in the chopper, I would head over to see the world's steepest sea cliffs (over 1,700 ft. tall) and Saint Damien's monument at Kalaupapa on Molokai. Of course, watching whales breach from up above is a favorite treat, too! Maui from Above Spectacular views of secluded Maui.
